The State Government of Odisha vide their letter No. letter No. 10F (Cons)289/2016/22319/F & E dated 31.10.2017 submitted the above mentioned proposal seeking prior approval of the Central Government under Sectin-2 of the Forest (Conservation) Act, 1980. 2. The facts related to the proposal as contained in the State Government’s letter dated 31.10.2017 are given below in the form of fact sheet: FACT SHEET 1. (i) Geology - (ii) Vulnerability to erosion The ML area represents a mild sloping topography as well as plain land bisected by the seasonal nallas flowing along West-East. General slop of the area is due East. Sakat nalla is flowing on the South to North –East direction. The slop is less than 10o and not volunerable to soil erosion. 6.
