The LCCC Chapter of SNAP was awarded gold status, and SNAP advisor Gail Cummings received the highest award, SNAP Honorary Member, for her Lehigh Carbon Community College outstanding contribution to the organization. Civil Rights Audit Results Released The Pennsylvania Department of Education conducted an on-site civil rights audit of the college in September and recently released the results. The Bureau of Career and Technical Education selected the college for the audit. The Celebrating Career Development evaluator, Cynthia Gross, visited the Schnecksville campus and Allentown and Tamaqua sites at the end of September. November is National Career Development Month, and the The purpose of the audit was to confirm that the college was adhering to applicable laws, not the result of a complaint. Pediatrics Nursing Class Promotes The college will submit a Voluntary Compliance Plan by Dec. 15 to explain how we are correcting noncompliance issues.
