Group TravelMasters Presents: Niagara Falls and Toronto June 14 – 18, 2021 Day One Today we begin our Niagara Falls and Toronto, Canada Adventure. Arrive in the Niagara Falls Area using your own transporttation where you will be greeted by your local guide (Make sure you have your Passport or Passport Card Available for Customs.) We cross the International Rainbow Bridge into Canada. This afternoon we enjoy a guided tour of Niagara Falls which includes the Brock's Monument at historic Queenston Heights, the world famous Floral Clock (actual clock made out of plants & flowers), the Hydro Electric Plants & the Whirlpool Aerocar. We check into our hotel for the next four evenings. A delicious dinner buffet is served at the Skylon Tower in Niagara Falls. (D) Day Two Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel. Today we depart for the beautiful Niagara on the Lake. Our first stop this morning takes us to the Welland Canal and St. Catherine’s Museum. The St . Catharine’s Museum & Welland Canals Centre is located at Lock 3 of the Welland Canal and includes the Welland Canal Viewing Platform, the St . Catharine’s Museum Exhibition Galleries. Next we visit the Fort George National Historic Site. Overlooking the Niagara River, Fort George was built between 1796 and 1802. This fortification served as the headquarters for the Centre Division of the British Army during the War of 1812, and played a pivotal role in the defense of Upper Canada. We enjoy free time for lunch and shopping on your own in the charming town of Niagara on the Lake. This afternoon we visit one of the area’s many vineyards for a guided tour and tasting. We return to Niagara where you will have time to explore or freshen up before the evening dinner. Dinner is included this evening. (B,D) Day Three Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel. Travel along Lake Ontario to Ontario's capital city - Toronto, approximately 1 1/2 hours from Niagara. Drive by the Harborfront/Queen's Quay area, look across the harbor to the Toronto Islands, as well as Centreville, a popular summer amusement park. Head up Bay Street, through the financial district, and see bank capitals and skyscrapers. See the contrast between Old & New City Hall, side by side at Nathan Philips Square. Continue through the hospital district, and drive by the Casa Loma estate, overlooking the city. See ethnic areas such as Chinatown and neighborhoods such as the Garment District and Cabbagetown, as well as the Theatre District. See Yonge Street, the longest street in Canada featuring every shop and outlet imaginable! Of course you can't miss the CN Tower, one of the world's tallest free-standing structures, adjacent to the Rogers Centre, home of the Toronto Blue Jays. Drive by the ACC, home of the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Raptors. Toronto truly has something for everyone! We return to Niagara Falls where you will enjoy dinner on your own this evening. (B) Day Four Breakfast is included this morning at the hotel. This morning we head out for our cruise. Hear the roar and feel the mist of Niagara Falls while on a boat with Hornblower Niagara Cruises in Canada. Perfectly carved during an ice age more than 12,000 years ago, the falls exhibit power, strength and beauty. To ride into the heart of the falls, step on board a Hornblower Niagara Cruises cruise. Two 700-passenger catamaran boats, the Niagara Wonder and the Niagara Thunder, feature on board comforts including tiered decks for 360-degree viewing, dry viewing areas, on board concessions and passenger washrooms. The Voyage to the Falls Boat tour provides views of the American, Bridal Veil and Canadian Horseshow Falls. Each guest receives a courtesy mist poncho and a souvenir audio guide. The audio guide is 30 minutes long and provides educational and engaging information, such as explaining how an ice block once stopped the flow of the water. A Niagara Falls boat tour is repeatedly recognized as Canada's favorite visitor experience. The Funicular (Incline Railway) located next to the Group Kiosk offers panoramic views of the American, Bridal Veil and Canadian Horseshoe Falls. The rest of the day is left open for you to explore on your own. Visit one of the many other attractions or try your luck at the Fallsview Casino Resort. A fabulous dinner and show are planned at Oh Canada Eh? Dinner Show. Day Five Breakfast is included this morning before our departure. Enjoy a stop at the Duty Free Shop before crossing the Rainbow Bridge back to the United States. We travel back home taking with us many fond memories of our Canadian Adventure.
