AN ISRAELGRANTS.COM PROJECT NONPROFIT ISRAEL THE CATALOGUE OF EXPERIENTIAL VISITS TO ISRAELI NONPROFITS AN ISRAELGRANTS PROJECT NONPROFIT ISRAEL THE CATALOGUE OF EXPERIENTIAL VISITS TO ISRAELI NONPROFITS ___________________________________________________________________________ Shalom! Nonprofit Israel: The Catalogue of Experiential Visits to Israeli Nonprofits is a new and unique tourism initiative offering visitors an interesting and meaningful experience while viewing Israeli society from a new perspective. In the Catalogue, you will find a wide variety of exciting visits to nonprofit organizations throughout Israel, ranging from music and the arts to education, sports, politics and Jewish-Arab relations, and aid to vulnerable and needy populations. For example: *Attend an orchestral rehearsal, theater or ethnic music performance; *Tour/volunteer in facilities that offer sports, enrichment programs or educational activities for disadvantaged youth or people with disabilities; *Visit a unique community/research institute addressing political, social or ecological issues or state of the art medical center. Beyond the special experience, you will acquire valuable insights into Israeli society, and have an opportunity to become familiar with organizations engaged in social action. For the nonprofits, this is a chance to expand their circle of friends and interest potential donors in their activity. All visits are free of charge unless specifically noted in the Catalogue So here’s what to do: ñ Plan a short (or longer!) experiential visit for an individual, family or group. ñ Browse the Catalogue Index by subject matter or geographical location. (Some visits are limited to a particular location, other organizations offer visits to various locations). ñ Choose the Nonprofit anD activity that interest you. (Some organizations offer several activities or are willing to structure a visit to match your interests and timetable.) ñ Contact Us!
