Teaching and Living Eucharistically and Liturgically For All Elementary and Middle School Teachers Friday, February 5th, 2021 9:00am - 2:00pm This event will take place virtually with a virtual keynote presenter and a virtual mass. Please contact your school administrator for information for your specific site. Each school will register the teachers and administrators attending through DCS. There is a $60.00/school fee that will be billed to each school to cover the speaker and materials. Possible engaging individual activities if time allows 11:15-11:30am Break/Transition to Mass 11:30am-12:15pm Mass 12:15-1:00pm Lunch 1:00-2:00pm School activity facilitated by designated site person 2:00-2:10pm Evaluation and Dismissal JOSE GONZALEZ Senior Director of Professional Development, Sophia Institute for Teachers Jose Gonzalez joined the team at Sophia Institute for Teachers in 2014 after more than 10 years as a Catholic high school teacher. In addition to teaching Jose has experience working in parish and diocesan ministry. Jose has led over 200 of our workshops in over 40 dioceses and contributes regularly to our teacher's guides and digital instructional resources. He has a BA in theology with a concentration in religious education from Franciscan University of Steubenville, and an MA in evangelization and catechesis from the Augustine Institute. Jose and his wife, Mary Beth, have two daughters and a son. .
