We are YUNGA! Join us to make a difference! The Youth and United Nations Global Alliance (YUNGA) is a partnership between United Nations agencies, government institutions and civil society organizations that have joined forces to encourage children and youth around the world to become aware of the issues that affect all human beings everywhere. YUNGA was conceived as a gateway to assist the engagement of young people in activities of key environmental and social concern and to promote their participation in the initiatives of the United Nations. Children and youth are responsible citizens capable of taking up the challenge and acting as effective agents of change. Agriculture, biodiversity, climate change, energy, forests, hunger, nutrition, water and Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) are only some of the thematic areas on which YUNGA and its partners are working.
