One of the main areas of support is parenting. Advice and support include, Transition from school to school, Access to Parent groups and Specialised Support . Transition The PSA can support you and your child with the transition of moving up to junior and secondary school. We can provide support with topics such as integration into school, familiarising with the school, homework, bullying, attendance; this can be delivered through one to one support and workshops. Advice and Support The PSA can work in partnership with your family and be the link between school and other professionals to identify and help you with early signs of your child’s social, emotional, health and behavioural issues. Summer is shaping up to be a promising one! Six GET SET KIDS ! 4 nATiOnAL TRUST stages its first ever music festival The National Trust is set to host a music festival in the stunning grounds of Gibside, near Gateshead, this August. The Green Phoenix Festival is being organised by a company working with the Trust and their tenant farmer to put on the first ever overnight camping and music festival on Trust land. The festival takes place from Thursday 19th to Sunday 22nd August. Aimed at families, entertainment will come in the form of a cabaret and circus, live music, spoken word, outdoor aerial and fire performances, discussions, debates and demonstrations all with a sustainable and family friendly focus and powered by renewable energy. The Green Phoenix Festival is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate all things green whilst having an amazing experience without travelling hundreds of miles to get to it if you’re based in the North East. It’s a flamboyant family affair in a beautiful historic garden. The site is fully licensed for camping and will have stalls, cafes serving delicious and healthy food and bars selling organic ales, local brews and ethical cocktails.
