LIBERTY BELL The La Salle School of Business' AASCB (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation has been officially extended and ratified by the AACSB International Board of Directors. The elite accreditation, awarded to only 20 percent of business programs worldwide, has been extended to the University for a six-year period. The Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) has accredited the baccalaureate and master's degree programs in nursing at La Salle for a term of 10 years, extending to December 31, 2014. This is the maximum term for accreditation that an institution can receive. The Council on Social Work Education (CSWE), the national accrediting body for schools of social work, has reaccredited La Salle's Social Work Program through 2013. Meeting the stan- dards set forth by CSWE means that the Social Work curriculum is current and substantive.
