M E M O R A N D U M Date: July 24, 2020 To: Honorable Rebeca Sosa, Chairwoman and Members Tourist Development Council From: Michael Spring, Director Department of Cultural Affairs Subject: FY 2019-2020 3rd and 4th Quarter Project/Events Updates In an effort to determine the viability of the submitted FY 2019-2020 3rd and 4th quarter projects/events as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, staff polled the applicants and asked that they provide a status update of their project/events and report if the project/event took place as planned, was rescheduled, took place differently or was cancelled. In the cases that applicants responded that projects/events “took place differently,” it meant that the activity was converted from an “in-person” one to an online, “virtual” project/event. Attached are charts that provide an update of the 3rd and 4th quarter project/events.
