Owned, run, and much loved by the Richards family, this lived-in Tudor manor house features fine paintings, sculpture and impressive grounds including an ancient pleasure garden. The summer theatre was established in 1969, and we hope you’ll join us for the usual mix of plays, concerts, and comedy that bring the Hall’s pretty garden to life in June, July and August. Once more they will be joined by the Dinky Diva – top soprano, Annette Wardell – with the performance building to a heroic Last Night finale, to include Land of Hope and Glory, Nimrod, Hornpipe (Fantasia on British Sea Songs) and so many more best of British favourites alongside Rule Britannia. With this year marking the Covid-delayed 75th anniversary of VE day, there will also be a celebration of much-loved wartime classics such as Vera Lynn’s We’ll Meet Again.
