Atlanta Braves Fellowship Program Henry Aaron Fellowship Known as the Home Run King, as an outfielder for the Atlanta Braves, Hank Aaron broke the most hallowed record in sports in 1974 on his way to a career 755 home runs. Aaron had a playing career of many on-field accolades and equally large off-the-field impacts towards social justice and philanthropic efforts. Designed as a legacy platform to continue honoring his contributions to the game, the Henry Aaron Fellowship is a dedicated position in executive leadership and business operations designed to assist in the pipeline of Diverse candidates who are interested in becoming the next senior-level executive of a Major League Baseball club. The Henry Aaron Fellow, who will be working with the President and Chief Executive Officer, will be provided an overview and in-office experience of executive leadership and the operations necessary for leading and operating the various lines of business within the Atlanta Braves. Program outline: • Length: 12 Months (June – May); with an option for year 2 o June: Onboarding with company new hires to teach best practices, incorporate new inclusion training, crisis management leadership, and upcoming season preparation. o July: Planning and execution with the Diversity Marketing and Community Hank Aaron Week on topics ranging from revenue generation, facility usage, market activation, in- market and in-venue entertainment, baseball operations, and more. o December: Baseball Winter Meetings Conference. o Season-long: Commitment to assistance with Hank Aaron Chasing the Dream Foundation and/or Adopt-A-School through oversight from Braves Care and the Atlanta Braves Foundation.
