Congratulations Raymond. On a rainy Friday afternoon it was time to enjoy some indoor activities. Indoor Volley Ball was a great favourite - as was Wii bowling and karaoke. Alyssa & Chloe get creative in the craft room and Sharon taught Wayne how to knit! And everybody enjoyed a sausage sizzle. Matthew Lambert Valerie Duke Stephen Bromhead visited and took part in the meeting Cameron did a great job as the chairman and Fletch gave us a Jest Cameron Craig Martin keeping in theme with the meeting. Richardson Jackson Wall Talk It up has been meeting for 10 months now. The club meets on a Saturday morning once a month at the Visitors Information Centre where Zephanie Gillies everyone enjoys themselves. Julie Miller Mark Leggatt “Communication is a vital skill for people with disabilities as it is for the Norman Pritchard whole population” said local MP Stephen Bromhead, the Member or Myall Lakes. Mitch Hoppe Ryan Hutchinson Mr Bromhead acknowledged the club – named Talk It Up – for the way it Helen Phillips supports members with disabilities. The club’s membership is made up of experienced Toastmasters from Taree and Port Macquarie who assist Nikki Gander and mentor members to improve their communication skills and leading Kevin Forster in meetings. Suzann Zanesco Michelle Weinert Christopher Infield Alyssa has just returned home from her amazing Shaylee Rowlinson holiday to New Zealand. Aaron Mayers She, with her Mum and Dad, caught the train to Ashton Matheson- Sydney and then a plane to New Zealand South Towers Amanda Jones Island. They hired a motor home and travelled around enjoying all the sightseeing. Geoff Harker Jill Hanna In Queenstown Alyssa went on the Skyline chair lift to the top of Bob’s Peak, from where she saw panoramic views of Queenstown and the Rhonda Moore surrounding mountains. She went Whale watching and bush walking and Glenys Stonham saw a kiwi! They also went to Christchurch and enjoyed eating out in all the lovely cafes and restaurants. Alyssa says it was the best holiday ever! Grab your mates and make a team! 18 holes full of fun and laughs 21s t $35 inc games and lunch Sept $$ and Names in by 6th september 9.00am-3.00pm Fish ing & Picnic Come and show off your fishing skills. And your own gear if you want. We’ll get lunch out. 28th $25 inc lunch Sept $$ and Names in by 13th september All events will take place if enough people want to go - so put your name in early to confirm.
