Shroff Memorial Elocution Competition Rohan Nakashe, one of the participants gave a presentation before celebrities at MIT, Pune. .Nirmalya Disposal (Vermiculture)- Commerce students gave active support to this Vermiculture project initiated by the Department of Microbiology. Bharati Unni and Prof. Gautam Tenkale attended a one day planning session of NSS held at University Club House ‘Shahir Sabhagruha’ Churchgate. 4th June, 2010: 50 NSS volunteers participated in Sunday Project regularly which was held at Lokanayak Jai Prakash Narayan Leprosy Eradication Trust ,Vasai. Weeding, tree plantation , cleaning, helping inmates, etc. were some of the activities. 18th July, 2010: 48 volunteers participated in the tree plantation programme organized by NSS unit University of Mumbai at Kalina campus , Santacruz. 6th July, 2010: Programme Officer Prof. Bharati Unni and Prof. Gautam Tenkale attended the Orientation Programme organized by ‘MDAC’S and NSS Unit, University of Mumbai at Rangsharada – Bandra. 9th to 14th August, 2010: “DISHA” programme 210 member participated in the orientation programme.
