Australian Easter Bilby Colouring Competition The Australian High Commission is delighted to host a colouring competition featuring Australia’s very own Easter Bunny, the Bilby. The Bilby is a marsupial native to Australia, known for its large rabbit-like ears, long pointed snout and excellent burrowing abilities. To learn more about the Bilby, click here. Download and print a copy of the Bilby colouring template here and put your creative skills to work using your crayons, colour pencils, markers or watercolours and bring the Bilby to life. When coloured, take a picture of your work and send it via email to [email protected] or WhatsApp to +1 868 707 0973. Include in the subject line: “Bilby Colouring Competition: child’s name, country, age”. Include in the message: • Child’s full name • Child’s date of birth • Child’s country of residence • Full name of child’s parents with the statement “I (insert name), parent of (insert child’s name), provide my permission for (insert child’s name) to participate in the Australian High Commission’s Easter Bilby colouring competition” • Telephone contact • Mailing address Terms and Conditions: • The competition opens on 17 March and closes on 7 April 2021. • The competition is open to children between the ages of 5 and 12 years who reside in the following countries: Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, The Bahamas, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Haiti, Jamaica, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname and Trinidad and Tobago. • Entries will be judged by Australian High Commissioner Bruce Lendon. • There will be 1st and 2nd winner prizes allocated in two age groups: 5-7 years and 8-12 years. Prizes will be posted to the winners. • The prizes include edible items (including chocolates, biscuits and lollies). It is the responsibility of the child’s parent to read the ingredients for any potential allergens. • Eligible participants require parental permission to participate (see required statement providing permission above). • Relatives of staff of the Australian High Commission are not eligible to enter. .
