General information Domain Art History Level 1 Written Mode of Assessment Examination For Year 2011 This document contains the assessment specifications for 91015 Achievement Standards: 91020 Specific Information for individual External Achievement Standards Achievement Standard 91015 Title Demonstrate understanding of formal elements of art works, using art terminology Version: 1 Number of Credits: 4 Format of the Candidates will be provided with assessment • a question and answer booklet • a resource booklet with images (plates) Questions in this examination will relate to contemporary New Zealand art works or buildings. Candidates will be required to answer ONE of two questions EITHER Question One, by selecting and referring to art works they have studied, OR Question Two, by referring to plates provided in the resource booklet. Plates for Question Two will be selected from a list of artists in each of the following fields: 1.Painting 2.Photography 3.Sculpture 4.Architecture Lists of artists in each field are included in these specifications.
