When I contemplate the fact that the Peconic Land Trust was founded thirty years ago, I find it hard to believe—it just doesn’t seem possible. But when I consider what we have accomplished since 1983, and reflect on the nearly 500 projects completed in that time, each a Iunique story comprised of people and land, it rings true. This work is a labor of love, one that is comprised of challenges, successes, and setbacks.
