Notice of an application for determination of native title in the state of Western Australia Notification day: 17 July 2019 This is an application by a native title claim group which is asking the Federal Court of Australia (Federal Court) to determine that the group holds native title in the area described below. A person who wants to become a party to this application must write to the Registrar of the Federal Court, GPO Box A30, Perth, WA, 6837 on or before 16 October 2019. After16 October 2019, the Federal Court’s permission to become a party is required. Under the Native Title Act 1993 (Cth) there can be only one determination of native title for a particular area. If a person with native title rights and interests does not become a party to this application, there may be no other opportunity for the Federal Court, in making its determination, to take into account those native title rights and interests in relation to the area concerned.
