Her dancing exuberance and her fight for equality are captured in a nonstop rock and roll score that keeps us dancing from the first hit “Good Morning, Baltimore” to its successful integrated ending “You Can’t Stop the Beat”. With a bevy of comic characters, including Tracy’s mother, Edna, and it’s multicultural cast, this show was written as a comedy, but has more than music as its message. WEST SIDE STORY On a hot summer evening in the 1950’s in New York’s Upper West Side, William Shakespeare’s tragic story of star- crossed lovers dramatically unfolds. The enmity between two antagonistic street gangs puts the lovers Tony and Maria in the cross hairs of their families’ rivalries.
