Removes the 67950-1 Valve listed in the SB650-29-10-0 Kit as a result of it being previously installed on some airplanes. B. Adds a SB650-29-10-3 Kit to include the 67950-1 Valve so it can be ordered separately if necessary. C. Removes Figure 4 that showed the weight and balance chart. REASON To provide for initial spares replacement of a 9914119-1 or 9914119-3 Auxiliary Hydraulic Pump. DESCRIPTION This service bulletin provides parts and instructions to modify the auxiliary hydraulic pump support shelf to accommodate the new pump, install the new pump assembly, replace the auxiliary pump pressure dump valve, and replace the AUX HYD PUMP ON legend on the master warning annunciator panel to read AUX HYD PRESS. COMPLIANCE OPTIONAL. This service bulletin must be accomplished on initial spares replacement of a 9914119-1 or 9914119-3 Auxiliary Hydraulic Pump. FLIGHT CREW OPERATIONS No Change. APPROVAL FAA approval has been obtained on technical data in this publication that affects airplane type design. This information shall be considered an amendment to the Cessna Manufacturer's Maintenance Manual. Prepare the airplane for maintenance. A. Make sure that all switches are in the OFF/NORM position. B. Disconnect electrical power from the airplane. (1) Disconnect the airplane battery. (2) Disconnect external electrical power. C. Attach maintenance warning tags to the battery and external power receptacle that have "DO NOT CONNECT ELECTRICAL POWER - MAINTENANCE IN PROGRESS" writtenonthem. Attach a maintenance warning tag to the hydraulic ground service ports stating: WARNING: DO NOT CONNECT HYDRAULIC POWER - MAINTENANCE IN PROGRESS. B. Disengage the AUX HYD PUMP circuit breaker on the left cockpit circuit breaker panel. 3. (Refer to Figure 1, Sheet 1, Detail A, BEFORE MODIFICATION.) Remove the existing hydraulic pump as follows: A. Disconnect the electrical connector PT100 from the pump motor. B. Attach identification labels to each hose connected to the pump (if not already clearly identified), then disconnect the hoses from the pump. C. Cut the safety wire and remove the four attaching bolts from the pump base. Remove the pump from the shelf. Keep the bolts and washers for installation. D. Return the removed 9914119-1 or 9914199-3 Pumps for credit to: Citation Parts Distribution, Cessna Aircraft Company, 7121 Southwest Boulevard, Wichita, KS 67215, USA 4. (Refer to Figure 1, Sheet 3, View A-A.) Modify the auxiliary hydraulic pump shelf assembly as follows: A. Remove the existing nutplates from the shelf by drilling out the attaching rivets. B. Trim the flange from the inboard end of the shelf as shown. C. Install the 6217205-2 Spacer and 6217205-3 Stiffener as shown. D. Drill 0.25 inch diameter holes as shown centered on the inboard rivet holes previously used to attach the nutplates. NOTE: If the nutplates were not parallel to the sides of the shelf, locate the 0.25 inch holes to align with the rivet holes in the pump base. E. Install MS21052L4 Nutplates as shown to match the new 0.25 inch holes. F. Fill the other nutplate rivet holes in the shelf with MS20426A3-3.5 Rivets. NOTE: Leave the 0.25 inch diameter holes in the shelf open. 5. Install the 6217110-8 Pump Assembly as follows: A. (Refer to Figure 1, Sheet 3, Detail B.) Install the fittings and hardware (supplied with the 6217110-8 PumpAssembly)intheportsofthepumpasshown. B. (Refer to Figure 1, Sheet 2, Detail A, AFTER MODIFICATION.) Place the new pump assembly on the shelf and attach with four existing bolts and washers. Safety wire the bolt heads with 0.032 stainless steel safety wire. (Refer to the Maintenance Manual, Chapter 20, Safetying - Maintenance Practices.) C. Identify and reconnect the hydraulic hoses. Route and clamp as shown. D. Attach electrical connector PT100 to the new pump motor. Install a clamp on the electrical wires as shown, and ensure that the wires do not interfere with the hose routing. E. Inspect the hose routing to ensure that the hoses do not interfere with each other, or with nearby structure or components. Install additional clamps as required to clear interference. 6. (Refer to Figure 2, Detail A.) Replace the auxiliary hydraulic pump pressure dump valve as follows: NOTE: If a 67950-1 Valve was previously installed as a spare replacement for the 67950 Auxiliary Hydraulic Pump Pressure Dump Valve, do not replace the valve. After verifying that a 67950-1 Valve is installed, proceed to Step 7. A. Remove the baggage compartment floor panels to gain access to the auxiliary hydraulic pump pressure dump valve. B. Disconnect electrical connector PT132 from the dump valve. Sep 26/1988 650-29-10 Revision 4 - Aug 1/2007 Page 3 Citation SERVICE BULLETIN SB650-29-10 C. Disconnect the hydraulic lines from the valve. Cap the lines to prevent contamination. D. Remove the 67950 Valve by removing the attaching bolts, washers, and spacers. Retain attaching hardware for installation of the new valve. E. Remove the fittings from the 67950 Valve and install them in the 67950-1 Valve with new MS28778-4 O-Rings. F. Install the new 67950-1 Valve with existing bolts, washers, and spacers. G. Connect the hydraulic lines to the fittings in the new valve. H. Attach the connector PT132 to the valve. 7. Refer to Figure 3, Detail A.) Modify the master warning annunciator panel as follows: A. Disengage the WARN LITES 1 and WARN LITES 2 circuit breakers, located on the left circuit breaker panel. B. Remove the cover from the center instrument panel. C. Remove the attaching screws from the master warning annunciator panel, slide the panel out, and disconnect the electrical connector. D. Remove the HYD VOL LOW/AUX HYD PUMP ON cap assembly and replace as follows: NOTE: Read the original equipment part number (from the manufacturers identification placard) to determine the required replacement cap assembly. (1) For 9914061-4 Annunciator Panels, install a 711-7502-053 Cap Assembly. (2) For 9914061-5 or -6 Annunciator Panels, install a 99-XXX-6B3-23916 Cap Assembly. E. (Refer to Table 1.) Steel stamp the annunciator panel modification dash number (selected from Table 1) on a 6298088-22 Placard, then apply the placard to the modified annunciator panel. NOTE: Remove the existing annunciator panel modification placard, if installed. NOTE: If this service bulletin is being incorporated concurrently with SB650-31-9, first determine the modification part number from Table 1 in SB650-31-9. Then find that number in the first column of Table 1 in this service bulletin and read across to determine the modification part number for the annunciator panel.
