Lay out fabrics 1-18 in 18 vertical rows with the 2 1/2" squares of fabric 19 between the fabrics as shown. Follow number placement and press seams away from fabric 19. Join vertical rows to make a quilt top. Press seams in one direction. 10 2 18 10 2. For inner borders, sew together the 1-1/2" strips of fabric 20 to make one long strip. 3. Measure the quilt top and trim two borders the length of the sides. Sew to the sides of the quilt top. Press seams toward border strips. 4. From the remaining fabric 20 strip, cut two more borders the width of the quilt top. Sew to top and bottom of quilt. Press seams toward border strips. 5. Attach outer borders; measure the length of quilt top to determine side borders. Sew to long sides of quilt and press. Measure the width of the quilt top to determine length of outer borders for the top and bottom. Sew to short sides of quilt and press.
