For hours specialist civilian and military rescuers in hard hats with heat-seeking equipment, ropes and sniffer dogs battled their way to get beneath the wreckage of Mexico’s Enrique Rébsamen School. When upper stories pancaked on to art workshops and administrative offices below classes of 6 & 7-year-old children were crushed. In the end 21 children were found dead along with four teachers. Across Mexico the death toll was 369. We need your help to make this event a success and to brighten the lives of the Mexican children affected by this tragedy just before Christmas 2017. We can supply contact details for RNZWCS should you have any questions about how the money will be transferred to Mexico and the Rotary Club of Metepec.
