APPENDIX 1 Appendix C is amended (a) in section 1 by repealing clause (c) and substituting the following: (c) “annexed non-residential property” means annexed land in respect of which the assessment class of non-residential has been assigned under section 297(1) of the Municipal Government Act; (c.1) “annexed residential property” means annexed land in respect of which the assessment class of residential has been assigned under section 297(1) of the Municipal Government Act; - 581 - THE ALBERTA GAZETTE, PART I, JULY 30, 2011 (b) in section 2 (i) in subsection (1) by striking out “all residential properties and all non- residential properties” and substituting “all annexed residential properties and all annexed non-residential properties”; (ii) by repealing subsection (1.1) and substituting the following: (1.1)Subsection (1) applies to a non-residential property only if, as a result of that property being annexed to the City of Red Deer, the taxes for that property in the year of annexation are higher than they would have been if the property had remained in Red Deer County.
