Description of Damages on Transmission Lines (TL) A total of 19 TLs were damaged in Districts I (Panay) and III (Samar–Leyte): 9 toppled, 7 leaning, 3 broken and 1 detached insulator Panay Area - 69 KV Panit-an –Navas-Culasi/Caticlan TL- Phase C insulator detached (1 set) Leyte /Samar - 69 KV Catbalogan-Palanas Cara section – 20 TL toppled, broken pole, leaning; 69 KV Catarman-Bobolosan Section 1 TL broken pole; Catarman –Allen 1 TL leaning; Palanas Cara-Catarman- hit by toppled tree; 69 KV Tolosa-Mabuhay section – 1 broken pole; and 69 KV Tunga-palo section 1 leaning 7.Status of Lifelines Roads and Bridges (source DPWH) A total of 14 road sections and 18 bridges were closed to vehicular traffic due to series of landslides, floods, washed–out, hanging /eroded approaches and road slips: Road - 14 (2 sections in NCR; 1 in Region IV-B; 2 in Region VI; and 9 in Region VIII) Bridges - 18 (12 in Region IV-B, 1 in Region V, 2 in Region VI; and 3 in Region VIII. II. Humanitarian Response A. National NDCC facilitated the release of 550 sacks of rice amounting to PhP501,875.00 to Regions IV-A (Brgy San Antonio, San Pascual, Batangas-50; Brgy Poblacion,San Pascual, Batangas-50, MDCC San Pascual-75 and MDCC Bauan-75 , PDCC Oriental Mindoro-100 and 2 nd District Oriental Mindoro-100; and IV-B (Municipality of Looc, Romblon-100) DPWH has been conducting clearing operations and repair of damaged roads and bridges such as: repair of approaches, removal/clearing of debris and 4 removal of minor landslides debris, manual restoration of damaged road shoulder, maintenance work and clearing of roadway DOH through CHD IV-B has provided the needed medical services to the affected families in Romblon, Oriental Mindoro and Marinduque and released assorted medicines , supplies and Oresol to the LGUs NGCP has already completed the restoration of transmission lines in Panay area and still on going in Samar–Leyte area. HSOLCOM DRRUs , 7 M35 trucks, 1 L300 van and 1 multi cab vehicle are still on stand- by in Camp Nakar, Lucena City Batangas and Lucena CDCCs provided food assistance to the stranded passengers One (1) PN ship is still on stand-by at Infanta, Quezon Region IV-B Alerted all PDCCs of MIMAROPA and respective Civil Defense Deputized Coordinators Continuously disseminating weather and flood advisories Affected population is being taken cared of by the MSWDO of Sta Maria, Romblon OCD coordinated with the AFP Command Center for rescue on the affected population in Looc, Romblon and had coordinated with MSWDO/PSWDO for relief operations Relief operations by the MSWDO of Looc, Romblon on-going MDCC Looc, Romblon cleared mud debris in some areas and provided 50 family food packs to the affected families DOH prepositioned medicines and medical supplies at CHD Extension Office for LGUs in IV-B Region V The Municipal Mayor of Libon and Oas, Albay and other municipalities and cities convened their respective DCCs to the effects of Typhoon Feria. OCD V coordinated with PCG District Bicol for the status of strandees in various ports AFP SOLCOM 201, 202, 203, 901 and 902 BDE units were placed on stand-by in Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, Sorsogon, Catanduanes and Masbate 5 Two (2) PAF helicopters from TOG5 were on stand-by in Legaspi City for possible evacuation while two (2) PN ships were also on stand-by in Bacacay, Albay and Burias Island, Masbate Personnel from Coast Guard and PNP in Matnog conducted SAR operations for the two (2) missing fishermen. MASELCO initiated restoration works of the power lines in Masbate Rehabilitation works/clearing of transmission lines in the 14 municipalities of Masbate is completed Region VI CDCC Iloilo dispatched response team to assess the situation in Parola, Iloilo City PDCC Guimaras coordinated with OCD for the assistance of stranded passengers Initially coordinated with the Philippine Ports Authority for the accommodation of stranded passengers. PDCC Antique closely monitored the water level of Sibalom River AFP 3ID DRTUs were on stand-by in Iloilo and Negros at the height of the typhoon Provincial Engineering Office conducted clearing operations at the landslide site in Nabas, Aklan. MDCC Batan and PCG Dumaguit Station conducted SAR of the 2 missing persons MDCC Culasi conducted relief operations and provided relief assistance to the evacuees in Culasi Public Market RDCC VII Local DCCs activated its respective OPCENs and conducted emergency DCC meetings to assess the situation.
