MI Credit Card Double Spending Rewards From 1 July to 31 December 2018, Cardholders can enjoy below rewards by accumulating the eligible spending amount of HK$10,000 or above with MI Credit Card. Reward 1: HK$100 Insurance Cash Coupon Reward 2: extra 10,000 bonus points for existing MPF customers Terms and Conditions - MI Credit Card Double Spending Rewards 1. Bank of Communications MI Credit Card “Double Spending Reward” (“The Program”) is applicable to the Cardholders (“Cardholders”) of MI Credit Card issued by Bank of Communications (Hong Kong) Limited (“the Bank”) in Hong Kong (“MI Credit Card”). 2. The spending period runs from 1 July to 31 December 2018, both dates inclusive. (“The Spending Period”). 3. MI Credit Card Cardholders can enjoy HK$100 Insurance Cash Coupon (“Reward 1”) by accumulating the eligible spending amount of HK$10,000 or above during The Spending Period. If Cardholders are “Existing MPF Customers”, they can enjoy extra 10,000 bonus points (“Reward 2”). “Existing MPF Customers” means Cardholders who have maintained MPF account(s) of the Bank on 30 Jun 2018.) 4. “Reward 1” – HK$100 Insurance Cash Coupon will be delivered to the Cardholders by mail within March 2019. The usage of Insurance Cash Coupon is subject to the relevant terms and conditions, please refer to the Insurance Cash Coupon for the relevant terms and conditions. If Cardholders are eligible for “Reward 2” simultaneously, “Reward 2” will be credited to the MI Credit Card account within March 2019. 5. “Eligible Transactions”: (1) Local retail transaction, (2) Foreign retail transaction (non HK$), (3) Online retail transaction and (4) purchases made by post/fax/phone. 6. Eligible Transactions not include local/overseas cash advance, the reloading amount of Octopus add value service, electronic wallet transaction( including but not limited to WeChat Pay, PayMe and Alipay), all monthly payment for instalment plans, monthly instalment to merchants, MPF/SVC contribution, balance transfer amount, all online bill payment, purchase of casino chips, tax payment, purchase of traveller's cheques, payment of all credit card charges (e.g. annual fees, finance charges, etc.), insurance fee, redemption fee of other promotions and the transactions in Mainland China by using CUP Dual Currency Credit Card(including transactions of Mainland property, vehicle, aircraft ticket, fuel, wholesale, supermarket spending, hospital fee, academic fee) and any credit card transactions designated by the Bank from time to time. Any fraud or abuse, false trading and other unauthorized, cancelled, refunded or unposted transactions are not applicable for this promotion. 7. “Eligible Transaction” of a Supplementary Card will be combined with the Principal Credit Card account. If the cardholder has more than one principle card, the spending from other principle card cannot be transferrable or combined to count as accumulating spending amount to get “Reward 1” and “Reward 2” in this program. 8. All spending transaction dates are counted by the transaction date of the Bank’s record. Eligible Transaction must be posted before the spending rebate credited into designated credit card account. Other unposted transactions (including but not limit to dispute transactions, reversal transactions or delay posted by merchants) are not applicable for this program, and such transactions are non-eligible spending transaction. 9. To be eligible to the rewards of this program, the eligible MI Credit Card Account must be valid and in good financial standing. Any fraud and abuse, false trading and other unauthorized, cancelled, refunded or unposted transactions is not applicable for this program. The Bank will verify the credit card transaction record to confirm credit card accounts' eligibility for the program and the entitlement of the reward. The Cardholders are required to keep the relevant original sales receipts and Credit Card sales slips for inspection upon request by the Bank. In case of disputes, the Cardholders are required to submit the relevant original sale receipt(s) and Credit Card sales slip(s) for further investigation by the Bank. All relevant documents submitted to the Bank will not be returned. In case of discrepancy between the Bank's computer record and details recorded on the credit card sales slip, the Bank's computer record shall prevail. 10. If the Cardholders have cancelled any related transactions which had been included in calculating for the Promotion after promotional period, the Bank reserves the right to debit the amount equivalent to the value of the reward from the eligible Credit Card Account without prior notices. 11. The Bank reserves the right to vary the terms and conditions, to change or terminate the Programs at any time without prior notice. The Bank accepts no liability for any matters relating to changes or termination of the Programs. 12. No person other than the Customer and the Bank will have any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623, the Laws of Hong Kong) to enforce or to enjoy the benefit of any term under these Terms and Conditions. .
