AFTER SCHOOL LATE BUSES INFORMATION AND WAIVER FORM ACS Athens provides a return home bus service to students in Grades 7-12 ONLY, who stay after regular school hours in order to participate in athletics, after school activities and school-sanctioned programs. Students leaving campus for whatever reason CANNOT return on campus and use the Late Bus Service. Those buses depart from school daily at 5:45 pm. The school pays for this service, so it is free of charge to the students. Please note that during exams there is no late bus service (last two weeks of January). These buses go to designated areas (the buses are not a door-to-door service); below are the routes and the bus stops (the bus stops are subject to change depending on student needs): BUS 1: Filothei B, Aghia Varvara, AB Psychico, Hilton, Panathenaic Stadium, Vouliamenis Avenue, Glyfada Square BUS 2: Pendelis St, Melissia, Kefalari Square, Politia Square, OTE Ekali, Dionysos BUS 3: Ygeia Hospital, Marousi, Kifissia Square, Nea Erythrea, Nea Kifissia Square. This service runs without the presence of a bus monitor which means there is no adult supervision of the students riding the bus. It is the responsibility of the student to be on time for the departure, to get off at the right bus stop and to behave according to the school’s student handbook rules during the bus ride. Students must enter and exit the bus one by one. When students embark, they are asked to write their name on an attendance sheet and wear a face mask while on the bus. These attendance sheets are kept as daily records for reference. If needed during the duration of the route, parents can communicate with a bus contractor (Mr. Marios Nikolis 6948301940) who will contact the bus driver. By signing this waiver form, I acknowledge that I have read the above information. I further agree not to hold the school or anyone acting on its behalf responsible for any incident that may happen to my child during the after school late bus service, since the aforementioned procedure is free of charge and offered without any legal or other obligation of the school, but to facilitate student after school transportation.
