This study was descriptive qualitative research in which close reading was used to collect the data from plot, story, and setting of the film. The procedure of the research was streaming, identifying, analyzing and drawing conclusion which this process can be repeated many times in order to ensure the data. The subject of this study was film and values of character education were the object of this study. Eighteen values of character education that stated in decision of Minister of National Education (2010, ii-ii) were used on this research. Seventeen values of character education are found on this research, those values are hardworking disciplined, responsible, creative, appreciative, autonomous, peaceful, tolerant, democratic, patriotism, nationalism, honest, bibliophile, environmental awareness, social care, friendly/communicative, and curious. It could be concluded that media such as film can also be used to educate children by values of character education. Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter pada tokoh utama Zootopia. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif dimana pembacaan mendetail digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data dari plot, cerita, dan setting film. Prosedur penelitian ini adalah streaming, identifikasi, analisis dan penarikan kesimpulan yang mana proses ini dapat diulang berkali-kali untuk memastikan data. Subyek penelitian ini adalah film dan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter adalah objek penelitian ini. 18 nilai pendidikan karakter yang tercantum dalam keputusan Menteri Pendidikan Nasional (2010, ii-ii) digunakan dalam penelitian ini. 17 nilai-nilai Pendidikan karakter ditemukan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu bekerja keras, disiplin, bertanggung jawab, kreatif, menghargai prestasi, mandiri, cinta damai, toleransi, demokratis, cinta tanah air, semangat kebangsaan, jujur, gemar membaca, peduli lingkungan, pedulian sosial, bersahabat/komunikatif, dan rasa ingin tahu.
