River Ghaghra is flowing in Severe to Above Normal flood situation in Barabanki, Faizabad and Ballia Districts of Uttar Pradesh and in Siwan District of Bihar. Due to ongoing heavy to very heavy rainfall in Ken & Betwa sub-basin, Rajghat and Matatila Dams in Betwa basin are getting heavy inflows which are being released into the river.
