2017 WOFFORD INVITATIONAL APRIL 2-4 COUNTRY CLUB OF SPARTANBURG SPARTANBURG, SC THE WOFFORD INVITATIONAL The Coca-Cola Wofford Invitational is one of the most prestigious men’s tournaments in the Southeast. It invites participants from around the nation to compete in a two-day, 54-hole event. Since the inaugural tournament in 1988, there have been 18 different team champions and 30 different individual champions crowned at Carolina Country Club and The Country Club of Spartanburg. The list of champions and participants is impressive and has instant recognition with the likes of current PGA Tour players Tim Clark, Brendon de Jonge, James Driscoll, Russel Knox, Steve Marino, Len Mattiace, John Rollins, Johnson Wagner, and Wofford’s own William McGirt. It total, Wofford Invitational participants have gone on to capture more than 15 PGA Tour Championships and 37 Web.com Tour Championships.
