Four COUGAR ROSTER BREAKDOWN starters return from last year’s 22-12 team that advanced to postseason play after a second-place finish in STARTERS RETURNING (4) the Ontario University Athletic Conference’s Western division. The 5-foot-10 guard who led the Badgers in scoring and rebounding last year is also Keena Young F Sr. 10.3 ppg, 5.8 rpg dishing out a team-best 6.3 assists per game while ranking second in boards at 5.1 rpg. He has paced Brock Rashaun Broadus G Sr. 9.0 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 3.7 apg in scoring five times this year, including a 31-point performance on Oct. 28, and rebounding once with 10 on Lee Cummard G So. 4.9 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 1.6 apg Oct. 14 to go along with 27 points for his only double-double of the year. Senior forward Chris Keith leads the Badgers in rebounding with 7.9 per game, bolstered by 11 boards a piece in each of his last two games, and STARTERS LOST (1) is second in scoring with 16.9 ppg. The 6-foot-6 Keith has also recorded five blocked shots in the first eight Brock Reichner G Sr. 10.4 ppg, 2.5 rpg, 2.5 apg games of the year. Senior guard Scott Murray and sophomore guard/forward Mike Kemp round out Brock’s LETTERWINNERS RETURNING (9) returning starters and are averaging 11.8 and 11.4 points per game, respectively. Junior forward Owen Austin Ainge G Sr. 3.6 ppg, 1.6 rpg, 2.6 apg White, the tallest player on the team at 6-foot-7, is third on the team in rebounding with 4.1 per game while Jimmy Balderson G Sr. 10.2 ppg, 3.3 rpg, 1.5 apg Murray is close behind at 4.0. As a team, the Badgers are averaging 83.8 ppg on .410 shooting from the Rashaun Broadus G Sr. 9.0 ppg, 2.8 rpg, 3.7 apg floor to go along with 34.4 rpg. Brock opponents are posting 75.2 ppg while shooting at a .443 clip from the Sam Burgess G Jr. 2.1 ppg, 3.3 rpg** floor and averaging 39.5 boards per contest.
