The Colonels will be playing their home opener this weekend against the Reddies. Nicholls will be attempting to end an eight game losing streak dating back to last season. The Colonels’ last win came on Oct. 12, 2013 as they defeated rival Northwestern State, 33-21. The Colonels average 252.5 yards offensively, while allowing 621.0 yards defensively per game. Kalen Henderson has started both games at quarterback, having com- pleted 24-of-55 passes for 241 yards.
