The data includes on-time and late applications from Hertfordshire and out county. The data is displayed for the 2013 and 2012 admissions processes. Admission oversubscription criteria for Junior and Middle schools that use Hertfordshire County Council’s admission criteria are given below. The admission rules for junior and middle voluntary aided schools, foundation schools and academies who do not use Hertfordshire County Council admission criteria are available here - http://www.hertsdirect.org/services/edlearn/admissions/adminfo/Arrangements/Admissionarrngmts1415/deteraddmissarrangementsVAFA201415/ Admissions Criteria for Community and Voluntary-Controlled schools Pupils with a Statement of Special Educational Needs naming the school are offered a place. This affords priority over all other SEN rules. Rule 1 Children in public care (Looked after children) Rule 2 Children for whom it can be demonstrated that they have a particular medical or social need to go to the school. Children who attend the linked infant school at the time of their application. Rule 3 This rule only applies to pupils who are currently attending an infant school which has a linked junior school. Children who have a sibling on the roll of the school or linked school at the time of application. Rule 4 This applies to reception through to Year 5 in infant, junior and primary schools; and from reception through to Year 3 in first schools; and from Year 5 to Year 7 in middle schools Children for whom it is their nearest community or voluntary-controlled school or an own admitting school or academy using Rule 5 Hertfordshire’s admission rules.
