Moananu (5) TEAM LEADERS Previously on Moundbuilder Basketball MEN’S BASKETBALL: BUILDERS FALL TO BULLDOGS ON THE ROAD McPherson, Kan. -The Southwestern College men’s basketball team was defeated on Thursday, falling to the McPherson Bulldogs on the road by a score of 75-58. After Southwestern jumped out to a nine-point lead at halftime, McPherson posted a plus-26 margin in the second to gain the lead and eventually pull away from the Moundbuilders for the double-digit win. (JR/Hugoton, Kan.) leads the KCAC in blocks with 37 total and is No. 10 in the NAIA, averaging 1.8 per game. He added three more against the Bulldogs Troy Baker (SR/Maize, Kan.) is 14th in the NAIA in total rebounds with 215 Southwestern ranks top ten in the NAIA in both blocked shots and offensive rebounds The 58 points for the Builders is their second-lowest scoring output of the season.
