Location Tuscaloosa, Ala. Founded April 12, 1831 Enrollment 38,563 The battle for the SEC crown will get underway on Saturday with the Conference Southeastern men’s heptathlon at 11 a.m. CT. Field events begin Saturday at 3 p.m. Colors Crimson and White Nickname Crimson Tide with the men’s weight throw and women’s pole vault. Running events President Dr. Stuart Bell will also start at 3 p.m. with prelims in the men’s 60-meter hurdles.
