INTRODUCTION MsDP is a centrally sponsored scheme approved by the Govt. in the beginning of the 12 th Five year Plan and launched in the year 2008 - 09 in Minority Concentration District. It is area Development initiative to address the development defici ts Minority Concentration Areas by creating Socio - Economic infrastructure and providing basic amenities. The Programme aims at improving the Socio - Economic conditions of Minorities for improving the quality of life of the people and reducing imba lances in the identified Minority Concentrated Areas during the 12 th Five year Plan period. OBJECTIVES 1. To create awareness among the people of remote areas regarding Minority Welfare Schemes. 2. To disseminate the information regarding MsDP Scheme. 3. T o fill up the gape in the existing Schemes of the Gov. by providing additional sources and to take up Non - gap filling Project (Innovative Project) for the welfare of the Minorities. 4.
