CHARACTERISTICS OF THE TERRITORY General information for investment Vyzhnytsia urban local community is situated in the west of the Chernivtsi region in the foothills of the Carpathians along the Cheremosh and Vyzhenka rivers and borders in the west with the Putyla district of the Chernivtsi region, in the north of Kosiv district of Ivano-Frankivsk region, in the east of the village Banilov of Vyzhnytsya district, in the south of the village Lopushna of the Dolyshnii Shepit village council of Vyzhnytsya district and the Vyzhnytsky National Nature Park. The territory of Vyzhnytsia urban local community according to the administrative-territorial structure of Ukraine is a part of Vyzhnytsya district of Chernivtsi region. Geographical and climate conditions Vyzhnytsia urban local community is located in a moderate continental climate zone, with sufficient and excessive moistening. In the area is dominated western and northwest winds. The climate is more influenced by geographical latitude, as well as the absolute altitude level above the sea. The soil covering in the community is rather variegated, defined as the geomorphological and climatic differences of its territory. Here, brown mountain- forest, turf-burozemic, burozemic-podzolic, and widely separated sod-podzolic surface-water gley soils are widespreaded. The largest areas on the territory of the community are occupied by fir-beech forests, and rare all-beech forests. In general, beech and fir forests account for 60% of the forest area. Despite the abundance of these places, there are still some areas of virgin forests, where beech and fir trees reach 40 m and 70-90 cm in diameter. Afterlime meadows (mountain valleys) occupy comparatively small areas on slopes and hogbacks. Inner waters are represented by the rivers Cheremosh, Vyzhenka and their tributaries. In the filling of rivers the greatest role play rain and snow waters, a smaller share is the groundwater. There is a network of ponds. On the territory of Vyzhnytsia urban local community there are: 7 pre-school educational institutions where 854 children are brought up; 9 secondary schools where 2,446 students study; 10 health facilities with 12 doctors and 25 medical staff; 9 libraries with 10 people; 9 cultural houses, where 15 people work. Transport infrastructure. Automobile transport occupies one of the leading roles in both internal and external communications of the community. On the territory of the community there are developed transport routes of both regional and district significance. The connection with the regional center and other district centers is carried out by private carriers (8 carriers and «Zlagoda-1», «Transavtoservice» company). There is a bus station on the territory of the community. In the community, intra- passenger transportation is organized between communities and other villages belonging to the Vyzhnytsia district. Generally, the network of public roads provides transport links between settlements. All settlements are provided with hard desposition. Transport links provide access to district and regional centers. The territory of the community is crossed by roads, of which there are several key ones: R-62, T-2601. Condition - satisfactory. The total length of highways of local importance, which are located on the territory of Vyzhnytsia community, is 201 km, and the state value is 34.2 km. Structure of the economy One of the leading roles in the development of the economic sector is entrepreneurship, which is an important factor in economic growth, job creation, structural adjustment and the strengthening of the economy of the community. Tourism potential. The tourism industry is becoming increasingly important for the development of the economy and social sphere of Vyzhnytsia urban local community. The development of inbound and outbound tourism is an important factor in improving living standards, creating additional jobs and increasing revenues to the budget. The picturesque nature, the presence of a large number of reservoirs and historical and cultural monuments are prerequisites for the development of tourism in the territory of the Vyzhnytsia city territorial community. In 2017, an inventory of tourist infrastructure objects, an analysis of the work of tourism industry actors and measures taken to improve the quality and expansion of the range of tourist services are being carried out. During 2017 tourist services in the community provided 21 tourism objects. With the assistance of the Vyzhnytsia governor in Vizhnytsia, an information and tourist center "Gate to the Carpathians" was opened, which provides information support to the rest, services to owners of rural green farmsteads, tourist complexes of Vyzhnytsia community. Priority for the development of tourism on the territory of the community is the arrangement of mineral water sources and therapeutic mud, as it enables to develop sanatorium and resort tourism and related areas, namely: rural green tourism, eco-tourism, sports tourism and expansion of the network of hotel and restaurant establishments.
