Dear Caucus Attendee, Thank You for Being Here Tonight to Participate In

Dear Caucus Attendee, Thank you for being here tonight to participate in Minnesota’s Republican caucuses. With our national debt at $15 trillion and growing, unemployment at a generational high, ObamaCare already having a negative effect on costs and care, and billions of dollars in new taxes and regulations hanging over the heads of job creators, no one needs a reminder of how important this election is to the future of our country. While there are many priorities this year, including the defeat of President Obama and maintaining leadership of the House of Representatives, one that is equally as important is taking control of the United States Senate. We need to get Washington working again. Nearly 30 jobs bills passed in the House, but died in the Senate. It has been a morgue for legislation that would have encouraged job creators, entrepreneurs and domestic energy production. We have an opportunity to contribute to our party’s takeover of the Senate but it is imperative that we put forth the best candidate possible. There is a growing team of people in Minnesota and in Washington who believe Captain Pete Hegseth is our best chance at defeating Senator Amy Klobuchar in November. Pete recently returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan with the Minnesota Army National Guard as a counterinsurgency instructor. He had previously done tours in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and in Baghdad and Samarra in Iraq. Pete was awarded a Bronze Star for his part in a nighttime air-assault raid against a known Al Qaeda cell in Iraq. During the 2008 and 2010 election cycles, Pete served as the Executive Director of Vets for Freedom. As the sole fundraiser, Pete raised over $9 million and through the PAC helped to elect eight Iraq and Afghanistan Republican veterans to Congress, including Congressman Allen West. Pete’s family has been in Minnesota for generations. He is a native of Forest Lake where he graduated from high school. He went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree from Princeton University and is currently on leave from earning his Master’s degree in Public Policy at Harvard’s John F. Kennedy School of Government. Pete’s wife and son currently live in Stillwater. Pete’s unique combination of conservative values, education, political experience, military service and unmatched fundraising abilities make him the ideal candidate to defeat Amy Klobuchar and represent our conservative Minnesota values in the United States Senate. We hope you’ll join us on the Hegseth Team by volunteering and telling others that Captain Pete Hegseth needs to be the Republican-endorsed candidate to run against Amy Klobuchar in November. Find out more by visiting MN (the number) 4 Pete on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube or calling us at 612-217-0052. We know you’ll be impressed. Sincerely, Anne Neu (Draft Campaign Manager) and the Draft Hegseth Team Paid for by the Draft Pete Hegseth for Senate Campaign Committee Not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee .
