Very necessary. - Women: we have windbriefs too! - Wicking (next to skin) Top. Many choices: Craft / Smartwool / Sugoi / and many various running tops…MOST IMPORTANT PIECE! Probably will need two. - Mid Layer (for extremely cold days). Can take many forms…light fleece is the best (Toko, Mizuno, Nike, Asics, Brooks….) but can be sweatshirts etc. Just remember, cotton always stays wet. - Breathable jacket with wind front. Thick puffy jackets are too warm and will overheat. (ex: Swix, Craft, Salomon, Sugoi and lots of running jackets…we have many last years models on SALE! - Lobster Gloves (warmer than gloves, not quite as warm as mittens), gloves, mittens….we have LOTS of choices from Toko, Swix, LilSport, Salomon…. - Hats! Earmuffs. Headbands will not keep you warm! - Super cold items: Balaclavas (breathable face masks), neck gaiters, Warm Skin or Dermatone (prevents frostbite), Craft Goretex windfront long underwear tops or leggings, vests, glasses (to prevent wind burn)….overboots. Ski Accessories: - Ski Bags. Needed item to transport skis and contain clothing. Over 15 choices at GW! - Water Bottle waist packs (to keep skiers hydrated) Lots of choices.. - Ski Ties.
