Welcome to our 46th annual Spring Sing Presentation! As parents, alumnae, students, and friends we once again gather together in the beautiful, historic Balboa Theater to celebrate the 2016 musical extravaganza choreographed and produced in house by our very own OLP students. Tonight’s event will capture the essence of Streets throughout the U.S. For many weeks, our students have been working collaboratively with their elected leadership team to write, produce and direct each of these performances. It is with sincere pride that I recognize the invested effort of each and every student who undertook the additional commitment beyond her rigorous academic schedule, to prepare this truly amazing musical show. Not only do the audience members gain Class of 2019 Presenters insight into the many talented individuals who comprise the OLP student body, Anagloria Portillo-Vega ’19 but also as we take in each class performance we can see first-hand the spirit of Diana Valenzuela ’19 collaboration and sisterhood amongst the girls. This spirit of unifying love speaks directly to the charism of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Carondelet and what pulls us together as a community of faith. Class of 2016 presenters Colleen Brady ’16 On behalf of our entire OLP community, I would like to extend my thanks and Tess Kalfayan ’16 gratitude for all you have given to allow this special tradition to continue. For many parents this meant extra time commuting back and forth and coordinating carpools. I know that some of our alumnae in the audience have traveled from afar to be here in celebration and camaraderie with their alma mater. Thank you for your presence and your gifts in support of our school. Again I welcome you to our grand event. May your heart be touched by the joyful noise of the gifts endowed to our girls by our Lord Most High. Now on with the show!
