No. AR 2636 PROJECT :- JOHOR BAHRU – KOTA TINGGI ROAD / PASIR GUDANG HIGHWAY INTERCHANGE LOCATION :- CLIENT :- Johor Jabatan Kerja Raya Malaysia PROJECT COST :- COMPLETION DATE :- RM 120 Million 2007 Job Description :- The Project consists of upgrading the existing two tier signalised diamond interchange to a three-tier single point diamond configuration interchange utilising precast segmental box girder construction for the 3rd-level overpass bridge. The works also involve construction of following structures:- The Details Works include :- a.Approach Viaduct of Overpass Bridge at 30m span; b.Main Span Viaduct of Overpass Bridge at 50m-70m-50m span; c.KTMB Tunnels of 225m, 35m & 86m long x 26m wide; d.180m Long Underpass Tunnel Over Lebuhraya Pasir Gudang; e.Pedestrian Bridge and f.Retaining walls of type contiguous bored pile, reinforced concrete and reinforced earth wall. The upgraded interchange shall allow free flow movement for traffic along Johor Bahru – Kota Tinggi direction on the 3rd-level overpass bridge. The 2nd-level of the interchange allows the turning movements of the traffic. Whilst the underpass tunnel along Pasir Gudang Highway which is of the lowest level of the interchange allows free flow of traffic along Pasir Gudang – Senai direction.
