It’s my privilege to serve as Town Supervisor. On behalf of the entire Town Board, we’re very happy to serve as hosts of this fun, family-friendly event! It has been an exciting couple of years! The new Senior Community Center, (located next to the Town of Crawford Government Building) has provided a new, safe, one level, efficient building in which to conduct business and social meetings for our seniors. In addition, the space can be rented out for social occasions, and that income will help to support the costs of maintenance. Charles E. Carnes We listened to input from residents and business owners, and utilizing Supervisor that information compiled and developed a Community Development Town of Crawford Plan. You may have noticed the improvements and upgrades made to the ‘Crawford Commons’ shopping area and parking lot located behind the Village Center in Pine Bush. The enhancement project supports walking traffic and the shopping experience in the historic Main Street business district. Last year, grant funding helped us to secure the addition of new restroom facilities in the back of ‘Tessi Chessari Memorial Park’, off of Alice Court where local children play soccer and lacrosse, and the Town’s annual Relay for Life Event is hosted. In addition, brand new Pickleball Courts have been added as a feature at the Town Park on Red Mills Road.
