Carry on out of Ynys for about 1/2 mile Gwrach Ynys on the right hand side. Large house surrounded by trees. From the South North of Dolgellau on the A470 turn left at the large roundabout on to A470 sign posted Barmouth A496. Drive through Barmouth, Talyabont, Dyffryn Ardudwy, Llanbedr until just outside Harlech. Do not take right fork into Harlech town. Carry on along the same road down a hill past the college, under a bridge, over the railway crossing(below the castle) and out of Harlech for 2 miles.
