The new Inter- Oceanic Highway will shorten time by 6- 12 hours. • A “tsunami” of agricultural products is anticipated as a result of the opening of this highway. Much of the Agricultural exports to the US from Mexico now cross at Nogales. It is expected that more than 50% of that trade will cross at the Pharr bridge in the coming years.
