Knights Templar Class Topics will not necessarily be presented in this exact order The following are the Topics that will be presented and discussed this semester in this course on Knights Templar. Because this is the first presentation of these materials it is not known how many weeks this class will run, but it should run for approximately 7 to 10 weeks. Other topics will undoubtedly be discussed as well. 1, Brief introduction of who the Knights Templar were. 2, Oak Island /Prince Sinclair/Vikings vs Templers/ the Runic Language, interesting old stone inscriptions found in North America and Columbus. 3, Knights in general, (Charlemagne) vs Knights Templar, pages and squires. 4, Others in the order of the templars besides the Knights = squires, sergeants, nuns and Catholic clergy plus paid soldiers of fortune and volunteers. 5, Rome, early Christianity / Catholicism, Constantine. 6, The Crusades, battles, sieges, and Pilgrimages. 7, Saracens, Saldin and the Muslims – Jerusalem the holy city. 8, Detailed discussion on the Knights Templar. a, 1st Grand Master / Hugh de Payns – Last was James de Molay b, The formation of these Knights under the authority of the Pope. c, Their uniform, armor, flag, rules and the cross. d, Power, Revenue, wealth, property, banking system and ships. e, Relics: Shroud of Turin, Holy Grail, Ark of Covenant, piece of the Cross. f, Their fall, torture and trial - King Phillip IV, Pope Clement V. 9, Where did the surviving knights go and what did they do. 10, A brief discussion of today’s groups such as Free Masonry, Knights Templar groups around the globe, Mexican and other drug lords primarily in Mexico and California. Motorcycle clubs and high school mascots, even here in Utah. .
