The National Institute of Transforming India (NITI) Aayog, Government of India intends to engage technical consultants to undertake Detailed Techno -Economic Feasibility Study for implementation of Roll on & Roll off (“Ro-Ro”) / Passenger Ferry services through vehicle ferries with specific reference to Havelock Island, Neil island, Long Island, Ross Island, Smith Island, Aves Island, Campbell Bay (Great Nicobar Island), Hut Bay (Little Andaman Island), Diglipur and Mayabunder (Identified Islands) details of which have been provided in the RFP document. NITI Aayog invites proposals from national / international firms / organisations / institutions, which have requisite experience in this field as detailed in the RFP document, uploaded on the website of NITI Aayog. The salient featu res of this study, eligibility criteria and instructions on how to bid and other details are available in the RFP document uploaded on the website of NITI Aayog at http://NITI.gov.in and Central Public Procurement Portal (CPPP) at www.eprocure.gov.in. The issue of this RFP does not imply that the Authority is bound to select an Applicant or to appoint the Selected Applicant, as the case may be, for the Consultancy and the Authority reserves the right to reject all or any of the Proposals without assigning any reasons whatsoever. 2 RFP for Technical Consultant: Implementing Roll On & Roll Off (“Ro-Ro”) / Passenger Ferry Services in Andaman & Nicobar Islands The Applicant shall bear all its costs associated with or relating to the preparation and submission of its Proposal including but not limited to preparation, copying, postage, delivery fees, expenses associated with any demonstrations or presentations which may be required by the Authority or any other costs incurred in connection with or relating to its Proposal.
