Classes will include Private Class, Ballet Technique, Pointe & Variations and Floor Work & Conditioning. The intensive is available to dancers 13 years of age and up who have achieved the intermediate or advanced level. Rates are as follows: Unlimited (Excluding Private Class): $170, Private Class: $60, Ballet Technique: $25, Pointe Class: $20, Floor Work & Conditioning: $15. Call Ballet Etc. at (231) 929-2787 for a more information. A native of Traverse City, Sarah began studying ballet at the age of 6 with Tom Morrell. She continued her training at Dance Arts Academy and performed with Company Dance Traverse before leaving home at 13 to attend Canada’s Nation- al Ballet School. After graduating with honors in 2006 she furthered her training through NBS’ Post Secondary Program. During that time she guested with The Dutch National Ballet and in 2007 joined The National Ballet of Canada as an apprentice. The following season she became a corps de ballet member and per- formed with the company through 2015. She then joined BalletMet for the 2016/17 season. Throughout her career she has performed lead roles with The National Ballet of Canada, Ballet Minnesota, and BalletMet and has pursued commercial work in Toronto and NYC. Sarah has been awarded the Ceccheti Coucil of America Ballet Award, The New York City Dance Alliance Ballet Scholarship presented by Leslie Brown, Canada’s National Ballet School’s Peter Dwyer Award of Excellence Presented by The Canada Coun- cil For The Arts, and The National Ballet of Canada’s Patron’s Council Award of Merit. She completed Fletcher Pilates Teacher Certification Courses in Matwork I&II, Advanced Matwork, and Towelwork during her career in Canada and has enjoyed teaching throughout Ontario, Michigan, Minnesota, and Ohio. She is now a free lance dancer and a teacher based in Columbus, OH, presently on faculty with New Albany Ballet Company and a staff member at Flux + Flow Dance and Movement Center. .
