DISTRICT WISE CLIMATE CHANGE INFORMATION FOR THE STATE OF TAMIL NADU TEMPERATURE PROJECTIONS FOR THIRUVALLUR 2.1 About Thiruvallur Thiruvallur district, a newly formed district bifurcated from the erstwhile Chengalpattu district (on 1st January 1997), is located in the northeast part of Tamil Nadu. It lies in North latitude between 12°15' and 13°15' East Fig 2.1 Changes in Max. Temperature for 2020s, 2050s & 2080s longitude between 79°15' and 80°20'. It is bounded on the north by Andhra Pradesh State, on the east by the Bay of Bengal, on the southeast by Chennai district, on the south by Kanchipuram and on the west by Vellore district.
