The following new appointments to the faculty at the rank of assistant professor and above, and certain administrative positions, have been approved since the previous meeting of the Board of Trustees and are now presented for your confirmation. The Board action recommended in this item complies in all material respects with applicable State and federal laws, University of Illinois Statutes, The General Rules Concerning University Organization and Procedure, and Board of Trustees policies and directives. URBANA-CHAMPAIGN College of Business Alexander Milan Chinco, Assistant Professor of Finance, probationary faculty on initial/partial term appointment, on an academic year service basis, on 100 percent time, at an annual salary of $200,000, beginning March 26, 2014; and continuing as probationary faculty on tenure track year one, on an academic year service basis, on 100 percent time, effective August 16, 2014.
