FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Contact: Chrissy Sutphin, CAS PR 703-505-0207, [email protected] SINGER/SONGWRITER LISA DAWN MILLER – DAUGHTER OF LATE LEGENDARY MOTOWN SONGWRITER RON MILLER - RELEASES ‘A MIRACLE,’ A NEW CHRISTMAS SONG DEDICATED TO HER NIECE LOS ANGELES – Fast-rising singer/songwriter Lisa Dawn Miller – the daughter of late famed Motown songwriter Ron Miller – is kicking off the holiday season with a beautiful original track, “A Miracle,” dedicated to her beloved niece who has autism. Releasing just in time for the holidays on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify, the song is written by Lisa and her songwriting/producing partner, Mark Matson for The Colossal Nerve, Inc. “I was so inspired to write this song for my niece, Angelique," Lisa said. "She has Asperger’s Syndrome and many other medical issues. Her life has been an inspiration to our entire medical community because she wasn’t supposed to live beyond a few days. Today, she is 23 years old and brings so much joy to all those who know her." Lisa continues, "When I asked Angelique how she was able to get through the many surgeries she has had to endure, she said she has several imaginary friends who have been with her since she was a child. She told me that they give her strength and are always with her,” Miller continued. “In this world, so full of bullies who won’t be nice to others who are different, Angelique found love and strength from within and with her imaginary friends. If all of us could have such loving, caring friends who didn’t judge us, the world would be a much better place. ‘A Miracle’ is not about the challenges Angelique has had to face, but rather, it is about hope, inspiration and kindness because Angelique’s message is a positive one." Lisa is also the Producer and co-star of the long-running hit musical “Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show” with her husband and co-star, Sandy Hackett son of the illustrious legendary comedian, Buddy Hackett. She recently released “It’s Time,” “This Is the Moment” and “Today,” also available on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify. She and Matson also wrote and produced “On and On and On,” the new pop/dance release for Lisa’s daughter, 11-year-old singer/dancer, Ashleigh Hackett, and “You and I” and “Rise” for her son, 17-year old actor/singer, Oliver Richman. The three released “Everyone’s a Kid at Christmas Time,” the Stevie Wonder classic, written by Lisa’s parents, Ron Miller and Aurora Miller. Lisa made her debut as a singer-songwriter in 2016 with her original EPs ‘Hello You,’ and ‘My Turn Begins Today.’” Lisa’s father was legendary songwriter, Ron Miller, whose hits include, “For Once in My Life,” “Heaven Help Us All,” “If I Could,” “I’ve Never Been to Me,” “Someday at Christmas” and many more. She has many other projects in the works, including the launch of two new companies, The Colossal Nerve, Inc. and The Ron Miller Songbook Publishing Company, LLC. Her newly announced original musical comedy, “Andropausal Man,” a show about four men going through the change of life, will hit the stages in 2018. “Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show” begins its annual Broadway tour this fall and is expected, once again, to perform at numerous performing arts centers across the nation in 2018.
