Every four year player that has enrolled since 2004-05 at Texas A&M has been a part of at least one Elite Eight team. • Texas A&M is set to return 83% of its scoring, 81% of its rebounding, 96% of its assists and 85% of its minutes played in 2014-15. Both ESPN’s Charlie Creme and SI’s Richard Dietsch ranked A&M fourth in their early 2014-15 rankings. • Texas A&M finished 10th in the 2013-14 USA Today Coaches’ Poll, marking the Aggies’ fourth Top 10 finish • A&M’s game against Connecticut was the Huskies’ closest game in the 2014 NCAA Tournament. All three of A&M’s Elite Eight games involved the eventual National Champion (Tennessee ‘08, Texas A&M ‘11, Connecticut ‘14). • A&M returns junior Courtney Walker, who was named an All-American by the Associated Press (Honorable Mention) in 2013-14. Walker set the Texas A&M sophomore scoring record and ranked sixth in a single season overall in points at A&M. • Junior Jordan Jones returns after leading the NCAA Tournament with 35 assists, including 16 against James Madison, the second-most in an NCAA Second Round game. She finished fourth in the nation in assists per game, and set the Texas A&M single season assist record. Her 261 assists are the most by an SEC player since 2008-09. • Returnees Courtney Walker and Courtney Williams were named to the All-Lincoln Regional team for their efforts in leading the Aggies to the Elite Eight. Walker was also named to the All-SEC Tournament Team prior to the NCAA Tournament. • Texas A&M’s departed senior class of Karla Gilbert and Kristen Grant finished 12-3 in the NCAA Tournament, including three trips to the Sweet 16, two to the Elite Eight, and an NCAA Championship in 2011 • Texas A&M is 21-10 all-time in 11 NCAA Tournament Appearances, including the 2011 National Championship. • Courtney Walker was named First Team All-SEC, Courtney Williams was named Second Team All-SEC and Jordan Jones was named SEC Co-Defensive Player of the Year and to the SEC All-Defensive Team.
