subjectiveexperienceofclosedboundariesrestspreciselyontheoppositestateofaffairs–wide-open .portalsthatcontinuallyallowtransactionbetweeninsideandoutside,bodyandworld,selfandnot-self itcomestotheoryandmeaningmaking,nomatterwhatisobserved,theobserverwindsupimplicated intheobserved.AlthoughKubie’sprotestsweredismissedbymostofhisfellowscientists,hisideas aboutreflexivitylaterbecameingrainedwithinthehistoryofpsychoanalysis.RobertStolorowand hiscolleagues(Atwood&Stolorow,1979/1993),cofoundersofintersubjectivitytheory,arguethat everytheoryofpersonalityisself-reflexiveinthatituniversalizesthetherapist’spersonalsolution
